Kitega Community Centre welcomes you to our online home. For over 10 years we have been involved in community initiatives aimed at empowering the marginalised in society. Kitega centre was established with a Christian call to care for the needy. It is worth noting that Kitega centre is an interdenominational organisation that serves people of all backgrounds and religions without prejudice. With this approach we believe we can make the world a better place because we all live in the same world and should be responsible for one another.

Synopsis: Volunteers from Spain and Australia visited the community in July and worked with the children and did homevisiting. Kitega staff also visited VICOBA participants to see how they have used VICOBA funds to improve their lives. Kitega's sponsors Sharon and Willy from Singapore also provided the funds to help Katugulu school to install doors and windows in the school office to protect the materials that are stored there. July was also a time when staff members visited the benefaciaries of the centre's programs, and their feedback will help the board members to assess the impact of Kitega centre's iniatives at the Board Meeting in August.
